"Shaw Opens with a BANG!"

Spring is just around the corner and with it comes the 2015 Shaw Festival season. It opens April 8 with the play Peter And The Starcatcher by Rick Elice and is based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. The play is directed by Jackie Maxwell.

The play features Charlie Gallant, Kate Besworth, Martin Happer and Patrick Galligan.

A theatrical prequel to Peter Pan, this magical play takes you on a journey using the power of music and story telling to chronicle the adventures of an orphan soon to be called Peter Pan, and Molly, a girl charged to protect a parcel of star dust from falling into the wrong hands.

The Broadway production opened in 2012 and went onto win five Tony Awards delighting audiences young and old. Following all Friday matinee performances of Peter And The Starcatcher you can join a discussion with a member of the creative team. Learn what it takes to tell a story with ropes ladders, energy and imagination. This is a complimentary program.

So come join us in Niagara On The Lake at The Royal George Theatre for the opening of Peter And The Starcatcher. Stay in our Bed and Breakfast only a 5 minute walk to the Royal George.
